I have two dogs, Skye – American Pitbull and Ice – Siberian Husky
Skye is 10 years old and my best friend. I’ve had her since my first year teaching and she has been the best com panion ever since. First dog I’ve ever owned and she has taught me so much. How to be responsible. How to love. How to let go and enjoy the moment. How to be a man. She is the love of my life. She had cancer at the age of 5, again at the age of 8, and now another bout she is going through currently. Shes had two prior surgeries for removal, but this time that’s not an option, shes being a trooper though, after some pancreatitis bouts I have her eating rice and ground beef with the fat drained off and she seems to be doing very well. She knows only one direction and that’s forward, even when there’s a 400+ pound bear already standing there. Watch out for the bowling ball of love.
Ice is 6 years old and he is like living with a wild wolf. He is extremely smart, can climb 8 foot fences, dig tunnels, run 30 miles per hour, and is always down for anything! A little bit too down sometimes haha, but while being a handful is also very affectionate and protective over Skye and I, just like when he stared down a real timber wolf in Alaska.

She prefers ground beef and rice but will take Blue Buffalo or Canidae
